Various Art Seepage

By Josh Frankel

Here's a smorgasbord of stuff I've done in the past year. I do lots of messy doodles on loose scraps of paper, a few of which are included here. I don't normally turn this sort of thing loose, but thought they might be a useful demonstration of how I brainstorm. It is a high-speed churning of ideas. Most are crap. Some are amusing. I end up with big piles of these doodle pages and scraps. I clip out what I like to use for later inspiration, and throw the rest in the trash.

Also included are slightly less-doodly drawings I did for a sketch blog, commissioned illustrations (including several for the awesome music site daytrotter.com, check it out), and self-published comics.

I have no grandiose statement at the ready for lashing this hodge-podge together into a coherent bundle. So, um, bombs away!
