Epedemic Revolutions of Demarcation
by Chris Pew

In continuing with the series, "Ism and Ology," which explores various aspects of pseudo science, Epedemic Revolutions of Demarcation further explores the challenges of understanding of what we cannot prove or describe about cosmographical beginnings. The pen and ink drawings try to illustrate a roadmap for possible alternatives.

Merging the dynamic, and often polar, worlds of science and art, Oakland, Ca. artist, Chris Pew explores ideas of an abstract cosmos and different paths for the beginnings of space.

Chris’ work revolves around scientific theories and his art is an interpretation of those theories. He is interested in the hypothetical conditions of these theories and this is what he portrays in his work. Many times, scientists are purely speculating on a theory that only takes place if a certain condition exists, or the theory is impossible to prove in the foreseeable future.
