By day, we're working stiffs and office bums. By night (and during the day on weekends and on our days off), we're artists and writers who unabashedly have a passion for artsy-fartsy creations.

creative skin is an online exhibition space and collaborative that seeks to present and promote work by artists, writers, photographers, musicians, office assistants, introverts, cynicists, laid-off employees, your cousin, friends, dreamers, — anyone who has a genuine passion to create art and express their thoughts.

creative skin was born out of an idea between three sisters and their friends who write and make art, but spend most of their days slaving away at 9-5 jobs. With participants across the U.S., we decided to create an online creative space that allowed us to share and support each others' works, engage in lively discussions about them, and to cultivate and develop our own individual creative process. No matter what your day job is, we open this space to anyone who has a deep appreciation to thinking and making creative things in positive ways.

• Writing pieces - short stories, poetry, streams of consciousness, essays, reviews, rants, excerpts, articles
  
  
• Visual art - painting, drawings, photography, designs, comics, collages, textiles, and crafts
  
  
• 3D & multimedia - video, music, animation, sound art, 3D animation, interactive projects.
  
  
• Works in progress and experimental projects are also gladly accepted. This is a place that we hope to get feedback from other creators and visitors.
